MTN NG recently announced the Africa first artificial intelligence chatbot service for its Mobile Money (MoMo) platform.
The purpose of the Artificial intelligence (Al chatbot) is to enable more customers engage with MTN's Mobile Money services, i.e payments on various social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, and SMS.

The telecom company also said the Al chatbot would be included in its own newly released instant messaging service, named "Ayoba".
